Koenigsegg Regera, almost a decade, has been setting speed and braking records for several years now, which Koenigsegg does for fun, because at this point they don’t have much to prove to anyone but themselves. On Friday, Koenigsegg said a Regera set new records from 0 to 400 km/h to zero and 0 to 250 km/h to zero, at 28.81 seconds and 29.60 seconds, respectively. overcame Rimac in the process.
Koenigsegg said the record was verified by Racelogic, a British technology company. The record run was on the runway at Örebro Airport, located between Gothenburg and Stockholm. Koenigsegg that this run was aided by better tires — Michelin Pilot Sport Cup Rs 2 — and “a smoother track than previous record runs.”
Koenigsegg gives a simple explanation why do they bother at all.

At any rate, a record like zero to 250 mph to zero is easier to understand for most people than a new fast around the Nürburgring, because there’s less of an annoying complication when playing like the auto category and the like.
