But, “what exactly is a skill deck and how will it help me maximize my zombie killing potential?” you ask. Well, first, we need to talk about skill cards.
Skill card
Obtained from leveling up, found lurking around LA and picked up from slain zombie enemies, skill cards are collectible items that, once equipped, will grant Slayers special powers, abilities, and benefits to aid them in combat situations.
Some of them make you faster, more flexible or more powerful; some reward you with summoner spells every time you perform that perfect beheading, and some will burn the zombies you drop rocks, turning them into flying sacks of rotten meat and on fire. No, we’re not joking; there is a card that does it.
Whether you want to raise your stats to become the ultimate killing machine, or want to access an arsenal of acrobatic attacks so you can slay zombies with maximum style points, there’s a skill card. capabilities to suit your needs.
We want you to have complete freedom in how you play, no matter which of the six Killers you choose to fight through HELL-A. That’s why we’ve created mostly skill cards that apply to everyone.
The right deck for the job
The skill deck is where you can browse your skill card collection and choose the card you want to equip.
Let’s say you come across a zombie posing a little more of a challenge than the typical trudging zombie – maybe they look like they’re both exercising and eating greens. Or they have blades out of their arms, Yes.
It’s time to make sure you’re working with the right skills to get the job done, that’s why we’ve created a Dead Island 2 skill deck that can be completely remodeled into any when.

Combine the Dash Strike ability with the Slayer Hammer Fist skill to unleash an attack capable of launching zombies into the stratosphere. This card combination is ideal for pushing zombies off the rooftops of Beverly Hills mansions to death or into puddles of acid and other dangerous substances. Stumbled upon a zombie wearing a grenade belt? Drag pins and send them to a crowd of their own for gunpowder result.

Mix Ground Pound The ability with Outbreak and Earthquake survivor skills to deliver a truly devastating ground smash that toppled zombies and burned the floor beneath them. We recommend this when crowd control is important – surrounded by pedestrians? Complete “Hulk smash!” and let Z’s crawl through the fire to get to you.
