NCAA 2023 Conference Tournament Tracker: Schedule, Automated Bidding


The NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament is approaching.

Before the big dance, hundreds of teams will battle in their conference tournaments as they vie for one of 32 auto bids.

Those who don’t win their conference tournaments will have to hope to earn one of the 36 NCAA tournament slots. The selection committee will announce the full 68 teams on Selection Sunday, March 12.

In the meantime, we’ll track the automated bids below, as we track each conference tournament winner.

Schedule of Conference Tournaments, with date, location and automatic bid winners:

first. northeast: Fairleigh Dickinson (The Knights advance to the championship game against Merrimack. But because Merrimack did not qualify for the NCAA Tournament, Fairleigh Dickinson earned an automatic bid.)
