Children and dogs make such wonderful couples, especially when dogs are young and also in their puppy stage. It’s like two best friends growing up together.
They can also play and share many of the same toys together. We’ve watched a lot of adorable videos of kids and puppies getting along.
There is one video in particular that makes us laugh because it perfectly captures the extent to which two completely different creatures can share with each other.
In the video below, a very cunning dog is taking a nap next to his older brother. However, this puppy doesn’t really sleep like its humans. Instead, he is plotting a way to steal his brother’s pacifier!
He managed to do it quite skillfully. When you first watch the video, you will think that the German Shepherd dog is cuddling a sleeping baby. It wasn’t until he turned around, sucking the pacifier between his teeth, that it became clear what he was doing in the first place.
The pacifier must have fallen out of the baby’s mouth while he was sleeping, and this sneaky puppy is just using his nap to steal it for himself.
Guess the old saying is pretty true: If you snooze you lose.
We can only hope that by the time the boy wakes up, his parents will buy him a brand new pacifier that hasn’t come loose.
