A giant ball of fur fell out at Central Missouri Humane Society by someone. At first glance, it is difficult to determine what is under the hair. The person who abandoned the pet said it was discovered in a small dog bed at a local supermarket. Workers at the shelter began working immediately to assist this child and find out who was lurking under that gray hair.

“It turned out that this fluffball was a dog in distress,” the Central Missouri Humane Society announced on Facebook. “She couldn’t walk, had lots of fleas and her thick, shaggy coat showed she was in pain. “Thanks to the folks at Pawsitively Precious, she was put under anesthesia and two workers spent three hours removing the fluff from her body. Despite being groomed and bathed, the little dog still couldn’t leave.

“After X-rays, it was discovered that she had been in this condition for so long that her foot was deformed and she broke several bones,” Pawsitively Precious posted On Facebook.
They never gave up on the little dog, whom they decided to name Precious.

Although she cannot walk or run like a normal dog, Pawsitively Precious speak she “has so much love to give and will make a wonderful pet for a very special home one day!”
