Multiplayer games need to attract nods and smiles
Recently, I moved out of the city and into a small village in the middle of nowhere. Look out the window and I see trees, maybe a little house nestled on top of a hill. I walk past the sheep and hope they don’t run away from me this time, because that means we’re mates after all. At night, it gets really dark, darker than you think. An owl called and it scared me.
Yeah, it’s great here. But entering the village by car is a challenge. The roads are zigzag and narrow, few people are patient because of the noisy machine. This meant I had to stop and let other cars pass much. It was annoying at first, but now I’m enjoying it. Receiving a wave or a flash warms the heart and can turn a bad day into a good one. I’m surprised that multiplayer games lack this fleeting friendship, which is a pity.
