The Motorola Edge 30 will be launched in India on May 12, the company revealed through a teaser on Friday. A dedicated website on Flipkart also started showcasing the specifications of the new Motorola Edge smartphone ahead of its domestic launch. The Indian variant of the Motorola Edge 30 will have a pOLED panel, according to the microsite. This smartphone was launched in the global market in April last week. The 5G handset is powered by Snapdragon 778G+. It has a 6.5-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate.

However, the timing of the launch event and the pricing details of the smartphone in India are yet to be revealed.

To recall, the Motorola Edge 30 launched in the European market recently at a price of EUR 449.99 (about Rs 36,300) for the base version 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. The device’s Indian price is expected to be in line with European pricing. It is available in Aurora Green, Meteor Gray and Supermoon Silver color options.
Another Edge series phone, Motorola Edge 30 Pro’s Prices in India have been set at Rs. 49,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant only.

The India version of the Motorola Edge 30 is expected to carry the same specifications as the model that has launched globally. The Flipkart listing indicates that it will have 5G connectivity and a pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It further hints at a weight of 155 grams and a thickness of 6.79mm for the upcoming Motorola smartphone.
