Toyota has announced that the 2023 bZ4X . electric SUV will include one year of unlimited EVgo fast charging. With the EVgo primarily focused on metro areas rather than road attractions, the choice could point to Toyota’s priorities for its first widely available electric vehicle.
With the availability of a Aftermarket WiTricity inductive charging system, Tesla Model 3 owners may soon have the option to “cut the cord” at home. A system for the Ford Mustang Mach-E is also in the works.
And maybe unique, spiral Wind and solar towers help charge EVs and stabilize the grid where it’s needed — in places like truck stops or remote charging stations? An idea we’ve seen before is being revived, and it may be more relevant in the context of building charging infrastructure.
