Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia at Tokyo Auto Salon KL 2023 – Wild ‘Predator’ Triton and Custom Xpander
In addition to ETCM and Nissan’s unique display carsMitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) is another OEM participating in the opening ceremony Auto Salon Tokyo KL 2023Open to the public today at MITEC.
You’ll find your Evos elsewhere (there are a few nice ones here, including the Evo VI Tommi Makinen in the original D Replica section), but MMM’s booth also has some great machines – there are four show car, two from the company and two more from passionate customers.
We’ll start with MMM cars, as you’ve probably seen them before. Triton style set is a copy of The winning machine of the Asian Cross Country Race (AXCR)that we have covered in great detail here. Painted Xpander is a copy of Xpander AP4 racing car authorized by Mitsubishi Motors Indonesia and built by Team Ralliart New Zealand to AP4 specifications. See much more here.
What’s more exciting are the customer cars, proving that no dream is too wild to come true. Serious. Check out the photos and videos of Triton ‘Predator’ by Hisham Nong, a fried chicken seller and Predator cosplayer from Penang. It’s an unusual story about a very unique machine – this beast has horns! Xpander owners, check out one of your own, this very carbon-rich black model.
Visitors to the Tokyo Auto Salon KL 2023 can test drive the Triton and Xpander (not the show car, of course!) and take home Mitsubishi products. Do so and you will be entered into a lucky draw where five winners will receive a Touch n Go reload pin worth RM300.
