MINI Countryman facelift with John Cooper Works Trim signs second generation F60 in Malaysia – RM254k
BMW Group Malaysia has just announced the availability of this model. Upgraded MINI Countryman with exclusive John Cooper Works Trim, a special edition Cooper S variant marks the final chapter for the second-generation F60 in the country.
Limited to 168 units, this run-of-the-mill edition features a John Cooper Works (JCW) aerodynamic kit, including a front apron with integrated air ducts and a rear bumper with diffuser. There are also MINI JCW door sill finishes, a sporty rear spoiler and 19-inch JCW Circuit spoked wheels with run-flat tires.
Inside, the MINI Cooper S Countryman JCW Trim features anthracite sun visors, dome light housings as well as anthracite colored pillars. Regarding exterior colors, this version has 4 colors, namely British Racing Green, Chilli Red, Nanuq White and Sage Green, all of which are available in limited quantities to provide exclusivity.
With no mechanical changes, the Cooper S with JCW Trim continues to be powered by the B48 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 192 horsepower from 5,000 to 6,000 rpm and plenty of torque. 280 Nm between 1,350 and 4,600 rpm.
Power is transmitted to the front wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch sports transmission with paddle shifters and outstanding performance, the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds. The road reaches a maximum speed of 226 km. /H.
Cooper S Countryman JCW Trim Edition priced RM253,833 (on the road without insurance and with SST; RM264,233). If you choose to add it on, the RM10,400 extended warranty and service package takes the retail price to RM264,233.
