Miley Cyrus welcomes her lost dog into the house

Daisy the Bulldog shows up at the fire station, like many other stray dogs. At first, Fresno County firefighters didn’t know what to do. They thought she might have somewhere to return to, so they waited. But sweet little Daisy didn’t budge. For four nights, she slept on the doormat outside the station, waiting for someone to love her.

After some deliberation, Fire Chief Lucian Neely called his brother, who had just lost his Bulldog. His brother agrees to adopt the dog, but Daisy still needs a forever home. Fortunately, all her patience will eventually pay off.

Waiting game

One day, a family friend of Neely’s contacted Wagmor Pets about Daisy. Of course, they immediately agreed to marry her. They assume she will have no problem finding a home as Bulldogs seem to be in high demand.

But Melissa Bacelar, owner of Wagmor, soon realized that Daisy had a lot of medical concerns. They suspect that she was used for routine livestock due to her rough condition. Despite everything, she seems to be a fun, affectionate dog. So, after some much needed medical care, Daisy was adopted.

Unfortunately, Daisy struggled to find a home. The rescue continued to post photos of her on social media, but no one seemed to care. That was until singer Miley Cyrus discovered her.

From rags to riches

Cyrus expressed an interest in Daisy about a month and a half after she was adopted. She wishes she could adopt the puppy, but she’s been busy with her other dogs and her new song, “Midnight Sky.” But she adopted at least five dogs from Wagmor so far, and she wants to help another rescue dog.

“About a month and a half after her journey with us, Miley texted me and she said, ‘Listen, I can’t bring another dog right now. But can I bring Daisy to shoot with me? I was going to shoot a video and I wanted to take her to the set and see if I could find her a home,” said Bacelar.

However, Cyrus is more attached to the dog than she expected. Immediately, she changed her name to Kate Moss, after the model. In the end, she let Kate Moss stay with her longer than planned, but before long, she found a home for the puppy. Of course, that house belongs to Cyrus.

Cyrus continued to update Bacelar about her new family member. Kate Moss has quickly made herself comfortable in her new home and she seems to get along well with her new canine siblings. Just a few months ago, Bulldog was alone at a fire station, begging for someone to love her. But now, she’s finally getting the love she deserves.
