Michael Blackson is defending Ice Cube after Faizon Love shared that he was only paid $2,500 to star on Friday.
“@Icecube is not to blame for us being underpaid, that’s the size of the movie industry pay,” Blackson tweeted. “I get paid $800 a day when I work next Friday plus overtime I made $1200 on my one-day work of ‘I can’t get giggy with sh*t’ Thanks to next Friday, I have become the biggest African comic. ”
He captioned the post: “Just like any other job, first timers entry salary, once you’ve made a name for yourself you can claim any amount whatever you want and if they want you, they’ll pay @Icecube new for food and a follow back from my IG page”
