Miami vice captain: Where does the Dolphins’ loss to the Bills put them?

snow begins as soon as buffalo bill tie Miami Dolphins in the fourth quarter. It’s not just a rage. It was a strong winter storm that quickly covered Highmark Stadium in Buffalo in the Bills’ 32-29 win on Saturday night.

Josh Allen was there and did it. The man who plays football is like growing up in a snowball. The Bills quarterback played in blizzard-like conditions on Saturday – and far worse.

But Tua Tagovailoa? Hawaiians? Alabama prospects turn Miami QB? Not much.

So it looks like the Dolphins’ advantage in the game has changed dramatically with the Bills’ forced ball touch and the onslaught of snow.

The Finns’ offense took place five turns after bad weather arrived, and while they drove 32 yards, they made it to the finish line with no points. They bet.

Miami also failed to win the ball back as the Bills controlled the clock with a 15-time, 86-yard, six-minute drive that ended with a goal on the field. Dolphins Trouble Monday – with rookie Kader Kohou missed a couple of tackles and hit a penalty that blocked a defensive pass at the last minute. (Kohou grew up in Texasa state of almost no snow.)

Soon, the Bills were in a favorable position for goal at the 4-yard line. And while one could argue that there is no “comfortable” scoring position in a storm like this, this striker Trevor Bass Smash the ball over the vertical posts and enjoy the snow with a celebratory slide.

“I know a lot of people want to talk about the weather,” Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel said after the game. “Our team has never done that. And it’s great for you to talk about that, but it’s more about football players on the football field.”

Yeah, but that football field is covered in snow.

Dolphins fought. Looks like they can relieve the sadness in Buffalo. The recipe was there. Tua shoots a pass down the field for Jaylen waddling and Tireek Hill for ground hits. Tagovailoa may not have had his best game – he completed only 56% of his passes – but he did capitalize on big opportunities. He shoots the ball into the gaps in the Bills defense and finds spots that help his receiver score.

It’s a tea leaf game for Tua. People will see what they want to see. If Miami wins, everyone will declare the south “back”. They will show highlights of Tua’s encounter with Hill. There’s been enough big throw time. But there are also misses and incorrect or inappropriate passes. And unfortunately, those throws will become the center of attention.

Considering the Bills won it during their long ride, the fault is mostly on the Dolphins’ defense. The unit had its moments. passer Jaelan Phillips opened the fourth half with a striptease that gave Miami a two-point lead. But its attack then brought its defense down, scoring only one goal after scoring to make it 29-21.

Even McDaniel seems to be having a bad day. In the third and short inning, he leaned towards his offense. On a normal day, that would make sense. But against the Bills, the Dolphins averaged 7.5 yards per take.

Although I tweeted angrily during the game that McDaniel should run the ball, he didn’t. Apparently, he’s not following my direct tweets. If that was the case, he would probably have pointed to Waddle’s score, a 67-yard touchdown in the third and fourth innings. Technically, it wasn’t a lack of distance situation. is an optimal result. That said, in the second half, the Dolphins faced a third three takedowns when they needed three yards or less. They throw it all the time. They cannot switch all the time. They finished 5/14 in the third relegation. Leave us this:

  1. The Dolphins weren’t good enough to beat the 1st AFC team in the top lane.
  2. But they also played well.
  3. It’s not the best they’ve played.
  4. Miami has made progress.

All four of those things can be true at the same time.

The problem is that their progress is coming on a three-game losing streak near the end of the season – when they need to win.

Miami (8-6) will host Green Bay Packers next week, then play at New England Patriots before finishing at home first New York Jets. It was a difficult ending. Currently, the Dolphins are close to owning the sixth seed in the AFC and have a 66% chance of reaching the knockout stages, according to FiveThirtyEight.com. If they beat the Packers, that number would increase to 76%. If they lose, their chance drops to 46%.

I will leave you with a bigger truth about this game.

The real truth and nothing but it.

This game belongs to Josh Allen. That’s how the Bills (11-3) won it. They have the best soccer player on the planet – or second best Patrick Mahomes. Yes, this is a team game. But sometimes individuals take over. That’s what Allen did.

That’s what the Dolphins will struggle with. If they give the Bills anything but their best, Allen will defeat the Dolphins. He’s so good.
