The Métis Nation-Saskatchewan elected its first Provincial Métis Youth Council president this previous weekend.
On Saturday, Autumn LaRose-Smith gained the election with 98 votes or 47 per cent of the votes solid. Her contenders have been Cody Demerais, who obtained 91 votes, and Jade Rooney, who obtained 20 votes.
