A post-match injury will keep Leigh Wood from entertaining home fans on September 24, but the show continues.

Matchroom Sport CEO, Eddie Hearn, talked about the headliner change.

‘Maximus’ will rank his IBO lightweight belt against champion Galahad. The latter is looking to bounce back with a win – his last bout was a shocking direct defeat to Spain’s Kiko Martinez in featherweight.
Elsewhere on the card, Teri Harper will claim Hannah Rankin’s super world title in England v Scotland.
Harper, a former world champion, is gaining weight after a brutal KO loss at the hands of Alycia Baumgardner.
Hearn points out that both fights deserve the top of the bill.
“Both Hughes vs. Galahad and Rankin vs. Harper are all worthy of headlines for their own shows and we have some of the best emerging talent on show like Cyrus Pattinson and Junaid Bostan.”
The action takes place at Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham on Saturday 24 September.
