AUGUST, Ga. – The Masters 2022 has kicked off and is going on with a stacked leaderboard featuring many of the best golfers and not much air between them. The course will thin significantly by the time Round 2 closes on Friday, making the next 18 holes most important for the remaining 90 golfers on the course who will face at Augusta National Golf Club.

Anticipation has reached a fever in advance masters when Tiger Woods decided to play competitive golf for the first time in 14 months. He made the most of that decision, post 1 under 71 with a few birdies and some side saves in a classic Tiger-like performance one might hope to see as he’s been under a lengthy layoff. In fact, it’s quite a remarkable achievement given the obstacles Woods has faced over the past year or so.
