Week 14 has yielded some good results with our NFL game picks and predictions against the spread. That doesn’t make much sense, though, unless we follow another good alternative in Week 15.

The goodbye weeks are over as the final month of the 2021 season begins. The marathon is even longer this season with Week 18 competing before reaching the knockout stages towards Super Bowl 56.

With every team back up and running, and some large and smaller spreads to navigate, here’s Sporting News’ latest fearless forecast for pig skin prognosis:

NFL picks vs. week 15 . spreads

Sunday 4:25 p.m. ET, Fox

The Packers get some respite here against an exhausted passing defense for Aaron Rodgers to attack and Aaron Jones can also enjoy good versatile success at full-back. The Crows love to play around, but know they’ll get burned if they try..vs. Rodgers and created a lot of one-on-one advantages. The Baltimore attack may not have Lamar Jackson on the other side to counter an active Green Bay defense. Tyler Huntley can make Raven competitive again, but defense is becoming a bigger problem than offense.

Pick: Packers win 27-20 and cover the spread.

Thursday 8:20 p.m. ET, Fox, NFL Network and Amazon Prime Video

The captain lost 30-24 home games to the Chargers in Week 3, so this is the last game they need to play against a team behind to help win an AFC West title. Justin Herbert was on fire with Los Angeles’ passing game, but their pounding attack could be without Austin Ekeler for a short week. Herbert will play well again, but Patrick Mahomes has money on the road and will outstrip him, with help from a better all-round defense and more traditional pounding success.

Pick: The captain won 30-27 but failed to cover.

Lock of the week: 49ers (-8.5, 46 o/u) on Falcons

Sunday 4:05 p.m. ET, CBS

The 49ers are getting annoyed with Jimmy Garoppolo feeling it with dynamic trio George Kittle, Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk. The Falcons couldn’t cover up any of them in any way. The 49ers’ running defense can also accommodate Cordarrelle Patterson and Mike Davis, and getting a respite with their rushed pass could chase Matt Ryan while their second needn’t worry about more. two recipients.

Pick: The 49ers won 34-17 and took the difference.

Performance of the week: Texans overtake the Jaguars (-3.41 o/u)

Sunday 1pm ET, CBS

The Texans took out Jaguar in Week 1 and will complete a seasonal sweep on the road. Something must be given here due to the nature of the anemic offenses and the often porous defenses. Houston appears to be playing more inspired with Davis Mills and David Culley, while the Jaguars are going through the motions with Trevor Lawrence and the rest of his teammates needing to endure Urban Meyer.

Pick: The Texans won 17-13.

Raiders at Browns (-5.5, 42.5 o/u)

Saturday, 4:30 p.m. ET, NFL Network

The Raiders are in freefall because Derek Carr played poorly in a limited pass game. They also couldn’t run the ball consistently and their defense fell apart. The Browns will make the most of all of those convenient weak points to their strengths of aggressive attack and D-bottom pressure backed by a deep ranking.

Pick: The Browns win 24-14 and that includes the spread.

Saturday 8:15 p.m. ET, NFL Network

The Patriots have a complicated game after the goodbye, as the Colts are hosting the game after the goodbye. Frank Reich does well in these situations, against what Bill Belichick’s team tends to do. The Colts will eliminate the Patriots with their dense attack with Jonathan Taylor, avoiding their prowess in the defense of the pass. They can also win first to accommodate Mac Jones’ help. Indianapolis makes a lighthearted statement in promoting its own playoff return leg.

Pick: Colts win 23-20 and spread included.

Washington football team at Eagles (-4.5, 43.5 o/u)

Sunday 1pm ET, Fox

The WFT had a WTF game against the Cowboys when Taylor Heinicke became underpowered and injured the entire attack, squandering another strong performance from an improving defence. The Eagles will try to continue their heavyweight approach to supporting Jalen Hurts after a bye, with just a little more to go before the pitch will pass. That is key to leading Washington, which will outperform a limited receptive corps.

Pick: The Eagles won 23-20 but failed to cover the spillover.

Panthers at Bills (-10.5, 43.5 o/u)

Sunday 1pm ET, Fox

Bills should come home angry and emotional and ready to beat the NFC opponent. Why not the team that they then simulated their success with? Josh Allen will play through his toe injury to destroy the Panthers’ withering defence, while Cam Newton/PJ Walker face the wrath of Sean McDermott and Leslie Frazier defenses on all levels.

Jet at the Dolphins (-8.5, 43 o/u)

Sunday 1pm ET, CBS

Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins will feel more confident after the game but their lack of ball control after the Jets’ biggest defensive weakness will keep the visitors out of hand in a head-to-head game. Look for Zach Wilson to respond well to late Dolphins hits once or twice to keep this game down.

Pick: The Dolphins won with a score of 20-13 but failed to protect the spread.

Sunday 1pm ET, Fox

The Cowboys offense is in full swing with no reliable running game, shaky gameplay, and Dak Prescott’s push to try to do too much and force things that don’t into his explosive wide receiver. he. This is a good match for all Dallas wants to do to move the ball with Kellen Moore. New York’s shaky QB situation with nothing but Saquon Barkley led to another romp.

Pick: The Cowboys won 30-13 and covered the spread.

The Titans will love this game as they can train former Steelers defender Mike Vrabel and beat the home team with their ideal style of play. Tennessee is still a team that runs strong when needed without Derrick Henry and Pittsburgh’s defense is a mess in the end. The Titans are playing with more defensive confidence and will shock Ben Roethlisberger enough for him to attempt their secondary exploit.

Cardinals (-14.47 o / u) at Lions

Sunday 1pm ET, Fox

Detroit won’t stand in Arizona’s way any further to the NFC’s top playoff seed.

Bengals at Broncos (-1, 43.5 o/u)

Sunday 4:05 p.m. ET, CBS

The Bengals paint a daunting task as they try to recover from a heartbreaking loss at home in extra time to the NFC’s 49ers. The Broncos have a similar track record, but their resumes are generally less impressive. Cincinnati will count on Joe Burrow to ignore it in the first place, while Denver will try to get away with a light-crossing game plan with Melvin Gordon and Javonte Williams hiding Teddy Bridgewater. It won’t work with Burrow playing him roughly in a key position on the road.

Pick: The Bengals won with a score of 24-20.

Seahawks at the Rams (-6.5, 47.5 o/u)

Sunday 4:25 p.m. ET, Fox

The Rams will try to avoid this trap game for a short week after playing a much tougher division game on the road against the Cardinals. They will do so by staying active to take the pressure off Matthew Stafford. Russell Wilson won’t get the same support from the ground and has limited options to attack Aaron Donald, Jalen Ramsey and the LA downfield.

Pick: Rams win 30-20 and spread included.

Saints at Buccaneers (-10.5, 46.5 o/u)

Sunday 8:20 p.m. ET, NBC

The Buccaneers and Saints both have two of the best rushing defenses of the league in as many seasons as it does. The Saints will try to win again with heavy doses of Alvin Kamara and groundless Taysom Hill, while the Bucs will be fine without forcing the issue with New Orleans native Leonard Fournette. Tom Brady will separate many of the holes in the Saints’ pass coverage from that of Marshon Lattimore.

Pick: Buccaneers win 31-20 and spread included.

Vikings (-4, 43.5 o/u) at Bears

Sunday 8:15 p.m. ET, ESPN

The Vikings had a much-needed win over the Steelers in Week 13 and are well-rested to hit the field on Thursday night. The Bears don’t have a lot of answers for Dalvin Cook and Justin Jefferson, but Kirk Cousins’ early woes will open the door for Justin Fields to keep things running high against a weak Viking. chili and also make good use of his legs.

Pick: The Vikings won with a score of 26-23 but failed.
