Masahiro Sakuraicreator of beloved games like Super Smash Bros and Kirby, posted the entire video in an ongoing series of videos about his cat Fukurashi. His YouTube channel is often full of videos about game design and a career in video games. However, viewers often ask him to post more pictures or videos of his cat. His most recent entry in his series does just that.
As of the time of writing, “My Feline Friend, Fukurashi” has the most views among Sakurai’s recent videos. There are over 113k views on Fukurashi’s video, compared to his on game recommendation (60 thousand views) or physics jump (81k). The video contains clips of Fukurashi now as well as when she was a kitten. There are also lots of pictures, such as a photo of Fukurashi yawning and a photo of a cat lying down.

Fukurashi seems to have the Scottish Fold genes, as her ears are soft. Although Sakurai doesn’t say how old Fukurashi is, he does mention that the two of them have been together for a while. He also states in the video’s description that he can force “just this once”, which implies that this could be the last video of the cat on the show. Channel “Masahiro Sakurai creates games”.
Latest Kirby The game in the long-running franchise is Kirby’s Dream Buffet, available for Nintendo Switch. However, Sakurai did not participate in this entry.
