Make your neighbors hate you with the Ford Mustang 2024 Remote Rev

If there’s one thing Ford Mustang V8 Engine owners love to do, it reminds people that they drive Ford Mustang V8 Engine. Currently, blue oval is making that task easier than ever. The Ford Mustang 2024 key chain will now allow the user to remotely control their motor. This feature has a simple, elegant name: Remote Rev.

In case you lost it:

We heard about it before when we attended the official launch of car 2024, but now we finally get to see this little piece of technology doing its job on video.

It’s all a pretty simple operation. To activate the Remote Rev, the user must first start the remote engine by pressing the upper lock button key chain once and then press the remote start button twice. From there, the key holder must press the unlock and lock button for the Remote Rev to work. Do it again and the system will be fully operational so you can increase the revs at 3,000, 4,000 and 5,000 rpm. What a treatment. Your neighbors will love you. The old people in the Car & Coffee parking next to you will love you. Your ex-wife will love you.

To ring in this new key-ovation, Ford decided to take a trip down memory lane for a look back at the evolution of Mustang keys. I already know. That may sound a bit boring, but trust me! It’s not! All the way back to 1964 (and a half), Ford wanted to deliver the original Mustang a key to distinguish it. It decided to put a cute pony on it to remind everyone that it was the original carriage. Then, in 1967, Ford introduced a double-sided key that could be inserted into the electrical socket in any way. Now that sounds extremely common, but in the 60s it was a big deal. After that, important innovations paused for almost 30 years.

Fast forward to 1994. You just watched a Lion King And Forrest Gump dual feature and you’re in the parking lot back to your Foxbody. You click a small button and your horse will unlock. You own the first mustang with smart key and passive anti-theft system built right into the key. You are a legend.

After that, the major improvements didn’t come into play until 2012. That’s when Ford launched Boss Mustang 302 with TracKey. Plug it into an outlet and the car’s brain knows you have a business intent and improves the performance number of 302. Three years later, Ford rolls out its first factory remote-start Mustang (the real kick-off). by Remote Rev). A year later, Ford put FordPass into the mix. It’s a smartphone app that allows people to control car functions right from their small touchscreen. It’s so new!

2018 brought a strobe light behind the Mustang’s push-button start that made it look like a beating heart (in theory). The last major improvement was introduced quite recently on the Mustang Mach-E. Buyers can choose to use their smartphone as a key instead of a traditional fob.

What a long way we have come.
