Lotus Emeya EV – bookings open in Malaysia, from RM650k for base variant; Launched Q3, shipped in Q4
News emerged that Emeya Lotus The electric vehicle is now open for bookings in Malaysia ahead of its official launch in the country, expected in the third quarter of this year. Next is the start of deliveries to customers from the fourth quarter.

Emeya S is equipped with a powertrain that produces 612 horsepower and 710 Nm of torque, helping the electric grand tourer accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.15 seconds and a maximum speed of 250 km/h. H. For the top Emeya R sold in Thailand, the 918 PS/985 Nm powertrain helps the car accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 2.78 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 256 km/h.
Lotus’s Electric Premium Architecture (EPA) forms the basis of Emeya, as for SUV Eletreand therefore uses the same 800-volt architecture as on its SUV.
Specifications from the first state show that the Emeya uses a 102 kWh battery pack, or slightly less than the 112 kWh unit in the Eletre. This gives the Emeya S a range of 610 km on full charge according to the WLTP testing protocol, while the Emeya R with higher engine power manages 485 km (WLTP).
Charging is supported by a 22 kW onboard charger that delivers a 0-100% charge in 5.8 hours, while DC fast charging is possible at up to 350 kW, making it possible to recharge 10-80 % in 18 minutes.
The wheelchair is a set of 22-inch wheels with 265/35 front tires and 305/30 rear tires, the chassis is equipped with an electronically controlled air suspension system similar to the Eletre. Active aerodynamics are also featured on the Emeya, an active rear diffuser and active dual-layer rear wing, the rear wing is 280 mm wide or 100 mm wider than the Eletre and provides 215 kg of downforce .
