Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti tests positive for COVID-19 : Coronavirus Updates : NPR

Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, who’s attending the U.N. local weather convention in Glasgow, Scotland, (often called COP26) has examined optimistic for COVID-19, his workplace introduced Wednesday.
Garcetti, who’s vaccinated towards COVID-19, was feeling properly and isolating in his lodge room, based on a tweet from the mayor’s account.
Native TV station KABC reviews the mayor is attending the convention with seven workers members. A spokesperson for the mayor’s workplace tells NPR that Garcetti was the one one from this workplace who examined optimistic for COVID-19.
Garcetti’s workplace didn’t disclose any further particulars on his prognosis when contacted by e-mail.
The Facilities for Illness Management and Prevention recommends that those that are totally vaccinated get examined 5 to seven days after coming in shut contact with somebody who examined optimistic for COVID-19.
The company says those that check optimistic ought to isolate for 10 days — or so long as they’re experiencing signs.
