Undisputed lightweight champion Devin Haney overcame George Kambosos Jr to win a rematch, repeating a performance that helped him win four major titles in June.

The official scores are 119-109, 118-110 and 118-110.

Haney (29-0, 15 KOs) picks the dominant Kambosos beyond the opening bell, fighting after his stab and consistently eye-catching right-handed landings.

Kambosos never gave up but couldn’t figure out how to throw enough punches to make the match competitive.

A full report will be updated shortly.

Round 12

Shutdown? Sure is not. But we’re probably looking at a 118-110 win for Haney, maybe a 119-109. Bottom line: Haney couldn’t have been more dominant in the knockouts.

Round 11

Kambosos had a relatively good round. He’s still trying hard and trying to hit a couple of eye-catching shots. However, that doesn’t mean he won the round. Haney is still picking him out of a comfortable range.

Round 10

Big spin for Haney. He stepped down to Kambosos and dealt some punishment, increasing his chances of a knockout. Kambosos does almost nothing but eat shots.

Round 9

That round was relatively competitive and bloody, as both men were cut. Kambosos has some good power shots. However, Haney still won the round. He dances well, also involved in some big rights.

Round 8

The gap in ability between Haney and Kambosos is large. Haney just needs to focus to win the match. Haney had his right eye amputated.

Round 7

Kambosos is trying. He just doesn’t have the tools or know how. Haney is picking the distinct Aussie with perfectly timed punches from the range. He doesn’t hurt Kambosos, which could mean we won’t see a knockout.

Round 6

Good round for Haney, who outperformed Kambosos. Haney was throwing enough punches to win rounds and not get hit. Kambosos looked lost, like he didn’t know how to proceed. One-sided war.

Round 5

Neither guy is particularly busy, which makes for a boring fight. Haney is winning rounds by throwing some punches while Kambosos can’t find the target. Haney is in control. He’s probably won four or five rounds so far.

Round 4

Kambosos failed to land with any consistency. He jumps around, poses, but doesn’t connect with many punches. Haney also didn’t get a lot of shots in that round. However, Haney still looks more relaxed.

Round 3

Good round for Haney, who seems to have found his range. He threw more clean and precise punches in that round than he did in the first two stanzas combined. Kambosos is landed next to nowhere.

Round 2

The fight has been steady so far. Haney could have hit more shots in that round but neither guy had a significant advantage. We’ll see who finds out first.

Round 1

Kambosos came on the field with a lot of energy, even though he didn’t get much done for most of the half. Haney made some bumps and landed a few power shots. Then, in the final seconds, Kambosos lunges at Haney and lands some power shots.
