Hi, help me out. Please 4 quadrants: Dog barking – Bark collar is activated, but will turn off if dog continues to bark. That is how the dog feels. It cannot be negative reinforcement because you are not taking away something to reduce the behavior because the behavior is still happening. If you are taking the discomfort away then the fact that the dog is still barking, surely reinforces the barking???
