DMM Games and f4samurai announced that Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion Lost Stories will release on May 17, 2022. A special show will be held on YouTube on May 16, 2022, a day before the official release of the mobile game. Japanese rock group FLOW will perform the game’s theme, “Puzzle” during the show. The pre-registration bonus includes the in-game currency, Kaname Ohgi, and the Knight Police Knight Frame. Rewards will be distributed to players after the game goes live. The official website has a short plot synopsis and a look at the ADV system. It also reveals characters that will appear as featured characters in the game’s story.

In November 2021, DMM Games announced that development on the title has been restarted. A trailer for the title was released alongside this announcement, showcasing a look at the gameplay. The game will feature motion graphics and be fully voiced. It will also feature a brand new story set in the universe of Code Geass.
