Out of an abundance of caution, as Winter Storm Elliott is expected to bring gusts, arctic cold, and a risk of rapid freezing to the Mid-Atlantic for the weekend, the Maryland Jockey Club has postponed Christmastide Betting Day program at laurel park.
Originally registered for Monday, December 26, the entire 11-race program has been moved to Friday, December 30. Live racing is scheduled to resume on Thursday, December 29. December, with the final 48-day fall meeting set for Saturday, December 29.31.
