Kitten rescued from engine compartment of Nissan Rogue after traveling on highway
Now is the time of year when animals like to hide from the cold of winter, and sometimes, they choose cars as their warm shelter. We found that the hard way with our long-term Hyundai Palisade, but this is a much happier story.
Bring to our attention via Jalopnik, a small, rogue kitten has just been rescued from a Nissan Rogue. The young man was sitting in the car for a while while walking down the highway when the people in the car began to hear small screams. So as anyone would do, they pass.
At this point in the story, Bear Creek Town Fire and Rescue Department of Pennsylvania came to the rescue. Fire services located the kitten stuck in the engine compartment of the car and proceeded to disassemble everything necessary to get the kitten out of the car. From pictures posted on the Fire Department’s Facebook page, we know that at least the front bumper has been removed. In total, the removal took about an hour and a half.
