Kim Kardashian is pleading with the court to speed up her divorce and says Kanye West’s social media posts are damaging.
“I’d love to get a divorce,” Kim said in court documents obtained by Page Six on Thursday. “Kanye has posted a lot of misinformation about our privacy issues and our shared upbringing on social media, which has created emotional distress,” she added.
Ye wants Kim to give up marital privileges if she remarries so that any conversation about custody can be reached in court. Kim’s attorney said: “It is clear that Mr. West’s objective here is to prevent or make it difficult for Ms. Kardashian to remarry.”
Kim says she won’t move assets out of any trusts because that’s what was in their prenuptial agreement.
“While I wish our marriage would work out, I’ve come to realize that there’s no way to fix our marriage,” Kardashian told TMZ. “Kanye disagreed, but at least he seemed to realize that I wanted to end our marriage, even if he didn’t.”
