Kevin Hart is against lending money to friends
Kevin Hart says lending money to family and friends is a bad idea and he doesn’t do it.
“No, you can’t do that sh*t. You’d go crazy trying to make people happy,” he told Charlamagne. “It is said that people’s money is the easiest way to get rid of people, right? So if you don’t want other people in your life, give them money, and nine times out of ten, you’ll never see it again.”
It’s not always like that. Years ago, he lent Tiffany Haddish money before she became a big star.
“I didn’t know anything until I saw a bunch of dirty clothes in her car outside a comedy club in LA. I asked her what was going on and she came down to play. [sic] this situation,” he wrote in an Instagram post. I reached into my pocket and gave her all the money I had at the time, which was $300. She captured that moment. . . That moment gave her a bed & shower for a couple of nights. This woman never let her circumstances beat her down. She lived up to her dream and exploded to get where she is today. “
