MLB The Show 23 Season 2 Rewards Program is down today*, delivering a host of great new content including, but certainly not limited to, the Kaiju Series.
Inspired by the Kaiju, or “Strange Monster” movie genre, the Kaiju Series showcases some of the most powerful MLB Legends and Superstars past and present, such as Monte Irvin, John Franco and Corey Kluber .
Kaiju program series
The Kaiju Series Show, available in other shows, is the perfect way to start your Season 2 Rewards Program and start adding Kaiju series players to your Diamond Dynasty team.
Play the all-new Moment and complete Quests featuring Kaiju Series Show players including Hunter Renfroe, Brandonw Lowe, Stephen Giorsburg, and Billy Williams.
- Join three Kaiju Events starting today with “Kaiju, Part I”. Then on May 19, play “Kaiju, Part II”, followed by the final “Kaiju, Part III” on May 25lame pants.
- In Showdown mode, stand your ground against Showdown boss Stephen Giorburg to make progress in Another Kaiju Show.
- In Conquest mode, complete the Kaiju Conquest Map to earn packs, Stubs, and progress.
Completing each of these missions will not only help you progress in the Other Kaiju Program, but also give you multiple opportunities to earn XP for Season 2’s XP Reward Path.
Kaiju in Stadium Creator
Along with a huge amount of Kaiju content to play and rewards to earn, you can also find brand new Kaiju props in the Stadium Builder on current generation consoles, including PlayStation 5. Create your stadium with the majestic Kaiju looming just behind the outer walls. Combine these new Kaiju props with existing props like the t-Rex, boat or UFO Mothership, among others, to create the ultimate Kaiju-inspired backdrop for your co-star games go out.

All of this Kaiju content, while undeniably fun, is just the tip of the iceberg for the new content available in Season 2 of the Diamond Dynasty mode.
Play new content in the Team Affinity 2 Program with rewards for all 30 MLB clubs, challenge new Mini Seasons, earn rewards with your friends in the new Ranked Program and climb the leaderboards in mode co-op, complete new Collections for 99 master bosses, as well as the mysterious Anonymous Series that will come to you in Season 2.
