If someone asked me to choose an ideal dish, I would almost certainly choose pizza. It’s delicious, portable, and easy to prepare, and most people love it. That’s why it’s not surprising that this is one of the most popular dishes on cruise ships.

What are the names of the pizza places on Carnival ships?
Carnival offers pizza nearly around the clock on all of its ships, so you’ll never be far from deliciousness while on board.
Almost all ships – 25 of the 27 in the fleet – have Pizza Pirate or Pizzeria del Capitano. The remaining two ships, are part of the new service Excel classthere’s something similar but with a different name: Miami Slice on Carnival and Coastal Slice above carnival festival.
What they all have in common is that you can order by the pie or by the slice without paying a penny extra. Pizzerias are also arranged into walk-in counters. Be warned: The pizzas are so good that there’s often a line.
Cruise ship pizza menu
Each Carnival pizza facility has five pizza options, three of which are core options that appear on all fleet menus and two of which may vary from cruise to cruise.

On the Pirate Pizza menu, Carnival offers five different pies:

- Smoked sausage: Tomato sauce, pepperoni and fresh mozzarella cheese
- Quattro Formaggi: Gorgonzola cheese, provolone, Parmesan and fresh mozzarella with roasted garlic
- Mushroom: Tomato sauce, mushrooms and fresh mozzarella cheese
- Prosciutto: Roasted garlic, rucola, prosciutto and fresh mozzarella

The menu at Pizzeria del Capitano includes the same five options as at Pizza Pirate:
- Margherita: Tomato sauce, basil and fresh mozzarella cheese
- Smoked sausage: Tomato sauce, pepperoni and fresh mozzarella cheese
- Quattro Formaggi: Gorgonzola cheese, provolone, Parmesan and fresh mozzarella with roasted garlic
- Mushroom: Tomato sauce, mushrooms and fresh mozzarella cheese
- Prosciutto: Roasted garlic, rucola, prosciutto and fresh mozzarella
Miami slice menu
Miami Slice’s menu offers three staple varieties, plus two that you can only find during Festival Celebration:
- Margherita: Tomato sauce, basil and fresh mozzarella cheese
- Smoked sausage: Tomato sauce, pepperoni and fresh mozzarella cheese
- Quattro Formaggi: Gorgonzola cheese, provolone, Parmesan and fresh mozzarella with roasted garlic
- Havana: Ham and chorizo with gouda, mozzarella and manchego cheese
- Picadillo: Ground beef and sazon with gouda and mozzarella cheese
Coastal slice menu
Coastal Slice has three core varieties as well as two different options that you can only find on Jubilee Festival:
- Margherita: Tomato sauce, basil and mozzarella cheese
- Smoked sausage: Tomato sauce, pepperoni and mozzarella
- Quattro Formaggi: Gorgonzola, provolone, Parmesan and mozzarella cheese with roasted garlic
- BBQ grilled chicken: Grilled chicken with alfredo sauce, red onions, green onions, mozzarella and gouda cheese
- Tex Mex: Bacon, corn, bell peppers and jalapenos with mozzarella and cheddar cheese

Prices for Pizzeria del Capitano, Coastal Slice, Miami Slice and Pizza Pirate are the same – free for all passengers.
