Joe Rogan’s Spotify Deal Is Worth $200 Million!!
Joe Rogan’s deal with Spotify is worth $200 million, according to a new report, double what was initially reported.
Here’s what The New York Times is reporting:
Dustee Jenkins, a spokeswoman for the company, declined to comment on the terms of Mr. Rogan’s settlement. Rogan’s representatives did not respond to multiple requests for comment.
Even in the bubbly podcast market, the sale for the “Joe Rogan Experience” is phenomenal. Spotify bought an entire content company, Gimlet Media and The Ringer, for less than $200 million each, according to company filings.
Spotify has been under pressure to remove Rogan after he reported spreading disinformation about COVID-19 and a video of him repeatedly using the n-word went viral.
