Joe Joyce returns on July 2nd, Callum Johnson, Jason Cunningham also features

Joe Joyce, Callum Johnson, Jason Cunningham will face Frank Warren’s cards on July 2 at OVO Arena, London.

Two of the three had rivals but after Joe Joyce-Joseph Parker fights The heavyweight’s next pass will still be announced.

“The carrot for Joyce is that victory on July 2 will set up a big showdown with Parker in September,” Warren said.

Cunningham (31-6, 7 KOs) will have his fine form tested by former two-division world champion Zolani Tete in his IBF International and Commonwealth Superbantamweight double defense. The visit to London will represent the eighth time Tete (29-4, 22 KOs) has fought

“I’m happy to give Jason Cunningham a big battle and a big test against Zolani Tete,” Warren said.

“Zolani has been with Queensbury for a long time, and we know him as a top-class executive. Jason didn’t hesitate to enter the fight because his confidence was high and he was an undefeated fighter. ”

“It’s a pity that his chance to prove it against Joe Smith Jr was dismissed due to a Covid-19 match in January, but his time will come once again and victory over Igor Mikhalkin Difficulty will bring him right back in the game. ”

Unbeatable lightweight Sam Noakes (9-0.9 KOs) defends the WBC International Silver medal against Marc Vidal (13-2-5, 5 KOs). The hugely popular middleweight Nathan Heaney will be sending his Stoke Army to The Big Smoke to cheer him on in defending his International IBO belt against a…
The opponent is still to be announced.

The super light Henry Turner (7-0.1 KO) and the first being the heavy cruiser Tommy Fletcher also appear on the card.

The program will be broadcast live on BT Sport channel.
