Joe Joyce predicts a Skilfull Fury to Prevail

Heavyweight contender Joe Joyce (13-0, 12 Kos) believes Tyson Fury will be too skilful for Dillian Whyte and assisted ‘Gypsy King’ to retain his WBC and heavyweight belts tonight, in front of 94,000 fans at Wembley Stadium.

Joyce would be a keen observer as he is currently ranked 2nd in the sanctioning agency rating and could be on a collision course with the winner, either this year or next.

‘The Juggernaut’ got used to the tough poses Tyson Fury put on with arm and leg speeds that took his massive frame to the punch, after sharing the ring with him during the bout. So far, 27 opponents in over 31 battles have been unable to effectively execute the game plan to overcome Fury’s unique skill set.

Joyce believes Whyte shares stylistic similarities with Dereck Chisora, whom Fury has beaten twice, first by unanimous decision in 2011, and then in a 10th round tie, three years later. there.

Joyce thinks the challenger may have struggles similar to those encountered by Chisora: “I think it’s a similar match in style as it has been with [Tyson] Fury and [Dereck] Chisora when they fight, where Fury just lands at will,” Joyce told Boxing Social. “If Dillian can get in and drop a few hooks and mess it up, I think it’s going to be a great fight. My money will probably go to Fury for this one. He’s the bigger guy, with a longer reach. His skill and footwork will make Whyte difficult to deal with.

“Let’s see what Dillian comes up with. He has to beat the champ and hopefully, he’ll have some tricks up his sleeve. It will be an entertaining, explosive war. ”
