Jermell Charlo Vs. Brian Castano 2 is reportedly set on February 26 in Houston

In what many believe is a controversial outcome, both Jermell Charlo and Brian Castano will consider ending their middleweight division.
As first reported by Lance Pugmire of USA Today, both parties have verbally agreed to terms that will end on February 26, at the Toyota Center in Houston Texas. Whoever becomes the winner of their confrontation will be crowned as the division’s first undisputed champion since Winky Wright nearly two decades ago.
While each is thrilled at the chance to win all four world titles, neither is convinced a rematch will take place considering how their first contest turns out.
On July 17, at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas, earlier this year, Castano was dismayed when it was announced that his confrontation against Charlo had been decided in a majority draw. Normally a heavyweight boxer, Castano is forced to fight much more professionally thanks to Charlo’s hard-hitting nature.
In particular, in the second and ninth rounds, Castano seemed to be on his way to playing the deck. On both occasions, Charlo shot straight into the Argentinian player’s chin. The unified list person then surrounded his man to try to end the show.
Despite his wobbly legs, Castano weathered the storm and managed to rise (586-533) and overtake (173-151) Charlo by the thinnest margin. When the final bell rang, the WBO belt holder raised his hands in the air in the pure belief that he had done more than enough to deprive Charlo of the title. That said, Castano is not only disappointed in the final decision, but goes as far as to say that he has been “robbed” of his undisputed glory.
With history in their sights, neither of them will be satisfied until they work things out once and for all.
