Ivan Golub beat Wesley Tucker – Tucker’s corner stopped at half time

20-1 middleweight boxer Ivan Golub fought a scheduled 10th round Tuesday night against Wesley Tucker 15-3 as part of the Boxing Insider’s The “New Beginnings” tag was dropped at Sony Hall in Times Square. The first round is a sensory process for every boxer. Golub shot down one of the two after his southward thrust in the second battle. However, in the later part of the chapter, Golub quickly finds himself on the carpet. The Brooklyn boxer was on his feet again, but it was a moment of raised eyebrows.
Despite being knocked down, Golub was able to continue landing on Tucker in the third round. Tucker, however, has shown he has the power to impact his higher enemies. The Golub attacked Tucker for most of the time the fourth Tucker remained essentially behind a tall guard. Does he hope to adopt the “one dope pull” tactic? Obviously not, as the match was stopped in Golub’s favor – by Tucker’s corner – midway through the rounds.
