The 76ers made their biggest splash on the trading deadline day when they sent All-Star keeper Ben Simmons, Seth Curry, Andre Drummond and the first two picks to the Nets in return for All-Star pitcher James Harden .
Harden reunites with 76ers president Daryl Morey, who led the Rockets during Harden’s nine-year tenure in Houston. He’ll be looking to increase the 76ers’ chances of winning the NBA championship, trying to make the most of the season MVP from Joel Embiid.

When will James Harden make his 76ers debut?
Now is a good time to remind you that Harden has missed the last four Nets games due to a “hamstring strain”.
While it’s unlikely it was just a ploy while the Sixers and Nets negotiate the commercial details or if the actual injured star guard will be determined, Harden was dropped from both 76ers games. this weekend.
According to Kyle Neubeck of The Philly Voice, Harden will be visiting Philly this weekend and meeting with the 76ers performance staff. As a result, he won’t be playing the Thunder on Friday or the Cavaliers on Saturday.
An official of the group also confirmed @thephillyvoice that Harden is not expected to compete this weekend. He will be traveling to the Philly area this weekend and will be assessed by Sixers staff at that time.

Aside from this weekend’s games, the 76ers have just two more competitions left before All-Star Weekend, giving Harden a small chance to bounce back before the break.
Harden was averaging 22.5 points, 10.2 assists and 8.0 rebounds per game with the Nets before the trade.
