Apple has been rolling out iOS 16 updates at a fast and furious pace since launch. We’ve been impressed with the iOS 16.4 update that comes with loads of new features for the iPhone. Now, the iOS 16.5 update is also being released. In fact, it is expected to be released to all iOS 16 supported iPhone users in the next week, 9to5Mac report. While only a limited number of new features are expected, it is important to note that many security patches and other improvements are likely to be rolled out, which should make it a good idea to update your iPhone. Pride celebration wallpaper
Apple may have added the latest two preloaded Pride Celebration wallpapers iOS Release 16.5 beta 4. These wallpapers will be in the dedicated Pride wallpapers section, specially crafted with the vibrant colors of the Pride flag to honor and remember the LGBTQ+ community. To explore this cool collection, simply navigate to Settings and access the Wallpapers section. Here, tap +Add New Wallpaper and you’ll find it all here.
Sports tab in Apple News
Sports tab will likely be added to the News app on iOS 16.5, Apple will give iPhone users convenient access to news, scores and fixtures according to their preferences team and tournament. While scrolling down the Apple News app, you’ll soon find a new Sports tab with the iOS 16.5 update. Additionally, in Apple News, Sports scores and schedule cards have been enhanced to provide a seamless user experience.
Screen Recording with Siri
This can be an extremely useful feature in any situation. It is an instant screen recording Siri command on iPhone. You can command “Hey Siri, start screen recording.” When you use this command, your iPhone screen will automatically start recording a video or whatever is there and it will keep recording until you turn it off by tapping the screen or through Siri.
Fixes
Not only these features, but iOS 16.5 will also bring some important fixes to some existing issues, such as when Spotlight might become unresponsive. Furthermore, it will fix an issue where Podcasts in CarPlay can’t load content and Screen Time settings may reset or fail to sync across all devices.
