Jamie Foxx remains hospitalized in Georgia nearly a week after his daughter revealed that the actor had experienced a “medical complication,” a source with knowledge of the matter told CNN on Monday.
His daughter Corinne Foxx shared on Instagram last week that her father experienced a health-related incident last Tuesday, though she did not specify what happened. She added in her post that thanks to her “quick action and thoughtful care,” her father is “on his way to recovery.”
CNN reported on Friday that Foxx was hospitalized and underwent medical examinations.
Foxx was in Atlanta filming the Netflix series “Back in Action” with Cameron Diaz. The source previously told CNN that the medical incident did not occur on set and that Foxx was not transported by ambulance to the hospital.
A separate source close to the film’s production told CNN on Friday that filming is “in progress” and is expected to wrap up this week.
The source did not specify whether Foxx still has footage or if he will return to the set.
