Inside the brand new royal suites at the ice hotel in Sweden
(CNN) – It’s definitely one of the coolest hotels in the world and Sweden’s ICEHOTEL just launched its 32nd incarnation with a bit of royal magic.
The world’s first hotel built from ice has launched a brand new suite of suites designed by Prince Carl Philip Bernadotte, or Prince Carl Philip of Sweden and his business partner, Prince Carl Philip. Oscar Kylberg.
Dubbed “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” this luxury suite with floral and botanical elements is a first for the iconic hotel, located 200 km north of the Arctic Circle in Jukkasjärvi. North.

The walls of the suites are decorated with ice cubes covered with colorful flowers and animals, while a beautiful ice chandelier lighting with flowers inside hangs from the ceiling.
Bernadotte and Kylberg say they wanted to create a moment that captures the mood of the celebration of the summer solstice, one of the most famous holidays in Sweden.
“Well, what better way to express the true personality of the iceberg than to encapsulate the most delicate and beautiful Swedish midsummer flowers in an arctic environment? To us the Swedes? Sweden, midsummer and especially midsummer nights, is filled with myths and legends.” the couple said in a statement.
The design team incorporated many floral and animal elements into the apartment.

“The Scandinavian nature that surrounds us with flowers and ice played a huge part in the upbringing of our culture and influenced how we are Nordic as well as Scandinavian.
“Hopefully our vision with ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ series invites you to be a part of us.”

Bernadotte, son of Swedish King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia, founded the design agency Bernadotte & Kylberg with his friend, designer Kylberg, in 2012.
While they have previously collaborated with brands such as Hästens and Georg Jensen, this is the first time they have worked on a project that is entirely comprised of ice and snow.
The pair were among 32 artists selected to create the latest version of the 2,870-square-foot seasonal hotel, which includes 12 art suites, 24 ice rooms and a ceremony room this time.
ICEHOTEL was founded by Yngve Bergqvist in 1989 and has been rebuilt every winter since then.

According to the hotel’s official website, the temperature inside ranges from “constant from minus 5 to 7 degrees Celsius.”
Those who sign up are given an “exploratory sleeping bag” and are given a survival course to help acclimate to freezing surroundings.
Overnight guests are allowed into their rooms at 6 p.m., but the hotel’s heating building is staffed and open 24 hours, so they have the option to return to warm surroundings if need.
Several new ice hotels have popped up in the years since ICEHOTEL first opened, Canada’s Hôtel de Glace, located outside Quebec City, and Romania’s Ice Hotel, based in the heart of the Mountains Fagaras in the Carpathians Mountains of Romania.
