Ahhh, November. A month associated with cooling temperatures, cozy family gatherings and eye-catching shopping deals. This month’s indie line features many unique concepts: overconfident adventurers on a big boat, self-discovery through mask collecting, and chaotic lo-fis. And since they’re all available to download at the PlayStation Store, you don’t have to worry about camping outside any brick-and-mortar retail stores Thursday night to pick them up. So say your thanks, enjoy some delicious food and get nice and cozy with some new ones.

Goat Simulator 3
It’s time to step into the shoes – er, hooves – of one of the trendiest caps around and cause all sorts of ridiculous problems… in purpose. This sequel to the infamous Goat Simulator brings massive mayhem to the resort island of San Angora and beyond. In this big colorful sandbox you and up to three other goat players can start the wildest antics. Commando cars, discover weapons, dress up in the most extravagant and ridiculous costumes, join a secret society of goats, and do everything you can to annoy the humans. There’s yoga, land sharks, and carnival games somewhere in there. Baa-d boys, what will you do?

Ship of Fools
What kind of fool sets sail in the midst of the worst storm ever? This stupid kind. In Ship of Fools, the Great Lighthouse that once protected the islands of the Archipelago has been destroyed, and Aquapolypse is imminent. Can you and a friend get everything right? Grab a companion and hop aboard in a frenetic co-op experience that combines elements of tower defense and roguelite as you maneuver cannons to stave off the dangers of the abyss. When you don’t have to bother taming ferocious enemies from the monsters below, you’ll be exploring uncharted territory and (hopefully) reaping bountiful loot. And fear not, solo sailors: if you want to sail into the heart of the storm as a lone captain, you can too. Just try your best not to live up to the title of this game.

Most of us think that the archetypal fantasy of knights and witches is like oil and water: perpetually opposed and destined for death battles. But what if they are one and the same character? Rayne, the heroine of The Knight Witch, has proven that witchcraft and chivalry can blend like peanut butter and jelly.
The gameplay of the game is also a great mix of genres: To battle the army of golems invading Dungeonidas, Rayne will soar through a vast maze of treasures and dangers, battling enemies. with her strategic magic deck and action knight skills in old school shoot-em-up style. The choices, customizations, and accessibility options make Wizarding Knights the after-holiday party for fans of 2D action games of all skill levels.

Self-discovery includes interacting with others: listen to their stories, help them fulfill their claims and earn badges and masks as rewards. Sable’s massive, mysterious open world and gameplay at your own pace make for a relaxing and thought-provoking adventure. And the amazing soundtrack of the Japanese Breakfast band creates an atmosphere unlike anything else. At the end of the day, what mask will you wear?
