According to a report in the Wall Street Journal, India is buying cheap Russian sanctioned oil, refining it, and then selling it to the US and EU for huge profits.
The US has been reluctant to allow India to buy oil from Russia because India has threatened to abandon its alliance with the US and its alliance with China if the US dares to punish them.
While Americans and Europeans are being forced to pay record price for gas like “The price to pay for freedom,” free country india is buying oil from russia for a whopping $35 a barrel and selling it back to us in a funny arbitrage scheme.
