I dreamed of a world last night where we had a perfect source of energy. It was a beautiful dream. Something with high density, easy to transport, easy to find, and not harmful to the environment. wow… What if then it has a low mining footprint, no banding, no rarity, and even better, no biologically lethal emissions. That would be a Gaian dream. Greener than anything ever imagined by any human in history.
My dream is even bigger. Obviously I don’t think small when I dream, it must have been a side effect of the nefarious way of life I was raised in. This power source is something that is easy to use with simple machinery so that energy can be converted into rotational, kinetic, electrical and thermal motion with minimal mechanical requirements. You can even carry it in a bucket or something – I know that’s silly.
Such a source of energy would revolutionize humanity. With almost no negative impact, everyone on Earth will be behind it. Imagine how the freedom it creates would be completely unfettered. You can really travel anywhere!! And then, what if that energy emits something useful!!!!
I know it’s impossible but wow, that would be a great world. What a world!!!!!!
My perfect dream would make no change to the current rate of sea level rise – in all recorded history..
Storm won’t rise..
Drought won’t get worse..
Hunger will be greatly reduced.
I know it’s impossible but man, what if its byproducts make clothes, food, toys and even birthday cakes!!! That would be a great thing! Ahhh, if I were God, I would do anything.
Everyone will be on my side.
Everyone will be my friend.
