If you want sharp images every time, you must use this technique
There are different techniques to get consistently sharp images, but I think this is the best of them all. Take a look to find out why.
The great thing about the internet is that you can get so much information just by clicking the Google search button that the hardest thing to do is figure out which information is most useful. That is also the case when you look for the best techniques to get sharp images. You can get a list of 10 points that endorse things like using a tripod, holding the camera a certain way with your elbows closed, or focusing one-third of the distance into the frame (if you is a landscape photographer). But which technique is always the best?
That question brings us to this great video by Mike Smith, in which he walks us through the focus stacking technique. If you’re not sure what this is, it’s the process of taking several shots in which you focus on different elements of the frame — like one in the foreground, one in the middle, and one in the background — and then stack them all together. all the photos together in post-production software like Photoshop.
