Coming to you from Christopher FrostThis great video review compares four 50mm ultra-wide aperture options: Mitakon Zhongyi Speedmaster 50mm f / 0.95 III, TTArtisan 50mm f/0.95, Brightin Star 50mm f/0.95and Venus Laowa Argus optics 45mm f/0.95. While all of these lenses are manual focus only, for mirrorless cameras they are much easier to use, even at wide apertures, than wide aperture lenses on DSLRs. For example, almost every camera has a peak focus point and zoom for manual focus, making it a lot easier to get sharp images. Of course, if you’re shooting fast action, you might want to consider a lens with autofocus, but for things like portraits or astrophotography, they’re well worth considering.
