HUNTINGTON, Ind. (WISH) — The Huntington County Humane Society is asking for assist finding the proprietor of two underweight canine who have been discovered deserted at Salamonie Reservoir.
The shelter stated that the 2 pups — one male and one feminine — have urine burns, extreme flea infestations and worms. They have been discovered lined in a mix of mud and feces, and the feminine canine is claimed to have chemical burns down your complete aspect of her physique.
“Saddest of all, they each cower in worry any time somebody will get near them,” the shelter said in regards to the pups, who’ve now been named Bonnie and Clyde. “It’s very evident these candy souls haven’t seen a variety of love of their lives.”
Animal Management officers spent over an hour climbing by the woods to rescue the canine, the shelter stated.
