Humana’s SeniorBridge closes all NY locations, lays off workers
SeniorBridge, a home care service provider for older patients, was founded in 2000. Humana acquired the company in 2012 to expand care management capabilities to include administration and services. home care services for the elderly. SeniorBridge patients receive personalized plans from their care manager, including on-call nursing, personal in-home care, and companion care.
New York SeniorBridge locations are in Midtown, Kew Gardens, Downtown Brooklyn, Mineola, Medford, Riverhead and White Plains.

Humana first announced plans to restructure its operations next July. The changes are aimed at increasing subscriptions and expanding the services it sells to other insurers. The ouisville, KY-based insurer is one of the largest in the nation and brings in $83 billion in revenue in 2021.
