Hugyfot is now shipping New cases for Nikon Z7 II and Z6 II. The case is also compatible with the original Nikon Z7 and Z6, as externally all four models are identical. The second-generation Z6 II and Z7 II share the same 24.5MP and 45.7MP BSI CMOS sensors, but boast a performance-enhancing Exspeed 6 processor that delivers faster burst shooting, a smaller sensor larger buffer, better autofocus tracking, and internal 4K/60p video recording.
The Hugyfot’s case is a differentiator from its previous designs: It’s more compact, lighter, and has a more rounded shape. While it’s machined from a solid block of aluminum, instead of the company’s usual hard anodized finish, the case has a thin film coating based on a ceramic polymer called Cerakote, which is resistant to scratches, chemicals, heat, UV rays, etc.
The standard housing configuration includes two optical ports for strobe triggering, a HugyCheck vacuum and leak detection system, an M16 port for accessories such as vacuum valves or external monitors/recorders and hands Dual aluminum handle with one-inch ball mount plus an additional ball that mounts on the top of the housing. Hugyfot offers a variety of options, including connection of Nikonos strobes, TTL converters and various viewfinders.

Case for Nikon Z6/7 II
Since the production of the Hugyfot case was moved to Belgium in 2003, we have been trying to anodize all the aluminum parts.
We felt it was time to move on to one of the best performing thin film coatings available today.
Cerakote is a ceramic polymer based thin film coating that provides industry leading strength, stiffness, flexibility, UV stability along with excellent resistance to scratches, corrosion, heat and chemicals. The finish is gorgeous and a joy to the eye and touch.
Our latest Hugyfot products will be offered in the following colors serviced by Cerakote Elite and H Series Oven: Graphite Black, Titanium, Titanium Blue and Champagne Pink.
Producing Hugyfot
The Z6/7 housing is machined from high-strength solid aluminum AlMgSi1. Each case is hand-sanded, sandblasted and finished with a ceramic polymer-based thin film coating.
The housing is pressure rated to 100m.
Camera control
All Nikon Z6/7 II camera controls are accessible (on/off, shutter release, shutter speed, aperture, program dial, main dial, push button, lens release , FN1, FN2).
