After dropping Red (Taylor’s version) At midnight on November 12, the pop superstar will follow one after another, this time in a movie starring actors Dylan O’Brien, Sadie Sink and herself. Shot on 35mm film by cinematographer Rina Yang, the video is written and directed by Swift, and will likely feature a fictionalized version of the hit “All Too Well (Taylor’s Version)”, a 10 minutes ballad against former love Jake Gyllenhaal.

The release of the film was held in a Official launch event in New York City, where Swift shimmered in a maroon velvet suit and Melinda Maria jewelry, posing with O’Brien and Sink. In an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers Thursday night, she said of the cast: “I’m just amazed by what they’ve done in this short… If Sadie had said no, I don’t think I would have made it. I don’t think I’m going to make a movie. I think I would be like, ‘This is a sign.’ I enjoy working with friends or people who I think would be excited to work with me. I don’t really want to have to convince someone.”
She then added, “I’ve never made a short film before. I’ve directed several music videos, but I need to reach out to people just like that — people who can believe I’m capable. And Sadie got it right away.”
