Artificial intelligence Tools have exploded into the mainstream in recent months. It all started with the preview launch of ChatGPTa conversational AI chatbot from OpenAI that wowed users with its natural, approachable and useful tone.

Since then, both Google and Microsoft have released AI chatbots with Bard And Bing chatrespectively, even if AI fever wouldn’t have been without it protect, moralityAnd economic concerns. More recently, Microsoft releases AI image maker in Bing, using a more advanced version of DALL-E 2, another OpenAI project.

There are some key differences between the way Bing Image Creator and DALL-E 2 originally worked, however, which we’ll explore as we go on. First, let’s dive into learning how to use the new Bing Image Creator.

How to use the new Bing Image Creator

Bing Image Creator's Sloth

The image was created using the prompt: “Picture a room painted green with green curtains and a sloth sitting in a hammock”.

Bing/DALL-E

What you demand: Using Bing Image Creator only requires a Microsoft account and access to Bing.com, no DALL-E 2 or OpenAI account required.

Unlike Bing Chat, you don’t need Microsoft Edge to access Bing Image Creator. Just go to Bing.com/Create and click Join & Create to sign in to your Microsoft account to access the image maker.

At this point, enter a description of the image you want to prompt Bing to create for you. Just like when using an AI chatbot, be as descriptive as possible to ensure your results are accurate.

After you enter your prompt in the text area, click Create.

Enter a reminder

For this prompt, I would request the following: “a photo of a sleeping lion in a room with blue floral wallpaper and yellow curtains”, then click. Create and wait for my image to be created.

Once your image is ready, it’s time to check the results. Both DALL-E and Bing’s Image Builder will display four generated images for each reminder.

They’re not always great, as the free AI image generator isn’t advanced enough yet to produce truly lifelike images, so you might see some flaws in details like a person’s finger or eye position or keys on a computer, for example.

As you can see below, the generated images don’t have a golden curtain, so that’s something I can’t express better. Regal curtains aside, I’m pleased with the result — the lion image is strikingly beautiful.

The Bing Image Creator preview results were generated with the prompt that I entered (highlighted at the top).

After going through the generated images, I decided to download this one. Simply clicking on an image will expand it and give you options to Share, Rescue to your account, Downloador provide Comment. It’s worth noting that you can download one, all, or no images at all.

Bing Chat can only generate images when the conversation type is set to Creative.

How do you write prompts to create images using AI?

The more specific your prompt, the better; Think of the prompt as a set of instructions for creating the image you have in mind. Include adjectives, nouns and verbs to describe the image and what the subject is doing — even styles are encouraged. If you say, “create an image of…”, you will get a different result than if you say create a cartoon, painting, or 3D rendering; So the visual style is important.

This is the best way to create a successful Bing Image Creator prompt.

Here’s how Bing Visualizer recommends formatting your reminders: Adjective + Noun + Verb + Style. In this case, it would be “Fluid creature wearing sunglasses, digital art.”

Do I own the AI-generated images?

The latest from the US Copyright Office is that AI-generated images are not protected under applicable copyright law because they are not the work of a human author.

AI image generators have created controversy because they are AI bots trained on images found online, images created by others. While the artwork you create with an image maker is unique, it was created with the influence of millions of artists on the internet.
