Good morning to everyone but especially…
THE HEAT MIAMI
They may not have the biggest stars, get the biggest headlines or, in yesterday’s game, even have one of their best players. But Miami Heat they’re just fine doing it their own way. On Sunday they showed again, Dominate the Hawks, 110-86.
- Jimmy Butler earned 36 points and won 10 rebounds.
- All five opening matches in Miami scored double the number.
- The Heat did this though Kyle Lowry sit out with hamstring and Hawks’ injuries Clint Capela back from a knee injury.
While Butler performed the attack on Heat, Miami’s defense Trae Young is what really stands out. Atlanta’s star point guard scored just nine on a 3-to-11 shot and had a plus/minus of -27. So far this series, Young…
- Score 16.5 points per game
- There are as many assists (24) as the number of turns
- Shooting 35 percent from the scene
- Shooting 21 percent on 3 pointers
Young stole the show after last season, when the Hawks beat Knicks and 76ers reached the final round of the Eastern Conference. However, this time around, Heat put in “a clinic” on how to snuff out any nasty hopes in Atlanta before they startwrite NBA scribe Brad Botkin.
- Botkin: “The Hawks made a desperate run to get through Game 3, but Miami has been throughout this streak, and is the far superior team. It will never lose without beating itself or being stopped. hit by a storm Trae Young. The Heat have both in their guard, and now they’re on a winning streak after winning the first leg.”
… AND ALSO A GOOD MORNING TO MIGUEL CABERRA
Welcome to 3K Club, Miguel Cabrera! On Saturday, Many tigers Legend has become 33rd player in MLB . history to get 3,000 hits in career. After going 0-3 and then intentionally walking In his final appearance on Thursday and seeing Friday’s game postponed because of the weather, Cabrera wasted no time on Saturday, crossing to the right to hit the big milestone.
Cabrera is just seventh player in MLB . history with 3,000 career hits and 500 career home runs, join…
- Hank Aaron
- Alex Rodriguez
- Albert Pujols
- Willie Mays
- Rafael Palmeiro
- Eddie Murray
It’s great to see Cabrera hit 3,000 in Detroit, where he’s played since 2008, winning two MVPs (2012, 2013) and winning the Triple Crown (2012). Lots of MLB stars also share their congratulations. Now the question becomes “Who’s next to reach 3,000?” Our MLB Expert Matt Snyder has 10 candidatesincluding…
- Snyder: “Rafael Devers – He is 25 years old and has 615 hits. And while we often think of players who hit 3,000 shots on target as those with a 200-shot streak during the season, Miguel Cabrera has only one of them. Devers had a hit, as he scored 201 shots in 2019. If he can hit 1,000 shots by the end of his 27-year-old season, we have a great contender here. “
Honorable mention
And not a good morning for…
NEW YORK YANKEES FANS AI THREE LIVE ON THE FIELD
The Yankees to scan Guardians over the weekend, but a select few fans of the Bronx Bombers should be ashamed of what happened at Yankees Stadium after they throw Guardians players in the trash after New York’s opening win on Saturday.
- Things started to escalate after New York’s Isiah Kiner-Falefa hit a double on the Cleveland quarterback Steven Kwanof the head. Kwan crashed into a wall, and taunts fell as he was joined by the coaches.
- Cleveland’s Myles Straw then climb the wall and confront the scammers.
- After Gleyber Torres‘hit-off, Yankees fans throw trash at Straw and Oscar Mercadosstop only after the stars of the Yankees Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton told them.
I don’t have a ton to add here. It’s not hard to act like an adult. Celebrate a great win with your fellow fans instead of, I dunno, throwing trash?! Again, it’s not that difficult. Let’s do better.
Not to mention such honor
Turned out Ben Simmons won’t play tonight
If Nets‘season ends tonight, it will end without Ben Simmons once hit the floor for Brooklyn. After reports indicate that he will be back for Game 4 tonight, Simmons reports Woke up with back pain yesterday morning and then to exclude, to expel later in the day. The Nets are currently being beaten 3-0 in their series first Celtics.
Simmons hasn’t played at all this season for 76ers or to the Nets, who acquired him in a blockbuster commercial that sent James Harden to Philadelphia. Now, with just one loss between them and the end of their season, the Nets will once again be without a poor striker. Given the situation, Simmons’ absence is sure to raise some eyebrowsBotkin wrote.
- Botkin: “Simons’ desire to actually play basketball again, when considered in conjunction with his mental health, will be a major story of the season, but for now, whatever the reason, It was a logical decision to put him on the bench in Game 4. The series has ended. Let’s allow him to hope for a completely fresh return, mentally and physically, to training camp and the start of next season, when Brooklyn can hope to get some return on the massive investment he’s made. it made into Simmons. “
It’s just another thing that hasn’t gone the way of the Nets this season – some out of their control, some self-inflicted – but led down 3-0, Brooklyn finally ran out of time to fix things, our NBA reporter James Herbert writes. Oh, and a quick reminder: No team in NBA history has come back from a 3-0 deficit.
Cantlay, Schauffele wire from Zurich Classic
As it turns out, putting two of the best players in the world on one team is a pretty good idea. Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele combine to shoot one 29-under record arrive win the Zurich Classic in high-string fashion.
The dynamic duo opened the week with the best round 59 header on Thursday, followed by a 68th-place shot on Friday. They then shot a 60-best ball on Saturday before ending things with a 72-shot substitute yesterday. They finished two hits first Sam Burns and Billy Horschel.
It was Cantlay’s seventh PGA Tour win and Schauffele’s fifth, and they are forming quite parallelgolf expert Kyle Porter writes.
- Porters: “The Cantlay-Schauffele partnership, perhaps somewhat coincidentally, has become a fixture in professional golf. From the Presidents Cup in 2019 where they drew 2-2-0 to the Ryder Cup in the year. 2021 where they won 2-0-0 in penalty shootouts came this tournament last year when they finished T11 all the way to this year’s championship, They seem to really enjoy playing together as much as they enjoy being around each other. That’s rare in professional golf and even more so at the highest level with two players in the top 12 in the world. “
